In her role as a dental assistant, Jill’s commitment to patient care is evident from the start. Jill enjoys her role since it provides her the opportunity to meet new people, provide assistance, and tackle unique challenges daily. She actively participates in developing individualized solutions for patients, ensuring that each person receives the personalized care they deserve.
Her fascination with dentistry arose from her desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives and spread knowledge. Having previously worked as a GED teacher for 5.5 years Jill transitioned to dentistry to explore a new industry where she could continue helping individuals be their best selves. She’s particularly intrigued by the profound influence of oral health on overall well-being and quality of life.
Jill thrives on interacting with patients, learning about their interests, experiences, and answering their questions. She believes that building strong patient relationships is a key aspect of providing exceptional dental care.
In her spare time, Jill has a wide range of hobbies and interests. She’s a culinary enthusiast who loves to cook, an avid reader, and a podcast aficionado. She enjoys playing computer and video games, as well as watching movies. Jill is also an active participant in tabletop games, including Dungeons and Dragons. Her creative side shines through in her miniature canvas painting, and she occasionally creates scrimshaw art, a unique form of engraving.
In addition to her work at Welcome Smiles, Jill is dedicated to her community. She continues to teach GED classes in Worcester, albeit at night, further underscoring her commitment to education and empowerment.
Additionally, Jill loves to travel, having a soft spot for the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a destination she frequents with family, and Key West, a place she’s visited numerous times.
