The most exciting news we have to report is that our office administrator Sue Depatie's son "D", age 6, is now CANCER FREE!! The Make-A-Wish Foundation has sent them for a trip to the San Diego Zoo, D will be starting school again, and Sue will be returning to work on a permanent part time basis in March.

Our office continues to be involved in continuing education.  Our hygienists Jessica and Courtney attended the Yankee Dental Congress in Boston in January, and attended a workshop on advances in "Treatment Planning" and a workshop on "Communication Skills and Customer Service."

Dr. Mehta has attended advanced workshops on anatomy and dental implant placement at the Misch Institiute.  He has also participated in a patient treatment seminar in Scottsdale, Arizona on advanced restoration of posterior teeth.  Dr. Mehta has also completed the requirements for Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and will receive an award for this in Baltimore in July 2009.

Dr. Gusar continues his presidency of the Central Massachusetts Dental Implant Study Group, and is planning a workshop in April on advanced communication skills with our dental laboratories for better patient results.

Both Dr. Mehta and Dr. Gusar attended a workshop with Dr. Ward Smalley on the role of adult orthodontic treatment for better prosthetic results and long term retention of teeth.

Our office continues to use our new Cadent iTero digital impression system for crown and bridge work.  While we have been very proud of our crown and bridge work in the past, this system allows us to provide even better and more accurate crowns and bridges. To our knowledge, we are the only office in Central Massachusetts currently using this system.

Our office continues to strive for superb customer service and the highest quality of dental care for you, our patients.  We want to thank you for being a part of our practice, we appreciate your referrals, and we always look forward to seeing you again!
